Move Like Me
“Move Like Me” Is a sensor-powered game that encourages upper body movement through sequences of sounds emitted from different parts of the body. It improves the swiftness of the upper body, and increases mobility of muscles and joints that are usually in tension due to the use of a blindness cane. This game is targeted towards kids from 8-11 years that due to their level of visual impairment require the use of a cane.
In Collaboration with Edras Mendez and Matias Botero.
Assignment: Design a product that mobilizes somebody that is considered impaired. Our group chose: blindness and visual impairment.
Materials: Silicone covered steel.
Machines and technology used: Makerbot, Ardruino Technology and Solidworks.
